Sport as a hook for learning and inclusion

Chitambo Champions: Play, Learn, Lead

An integrated programme using sport to prevent social exclusion for children aged 7–15. CHDF is establishing Community Learning and Sports Hubs that pair remedial education with life-skills coaching, directly responding to the district’s 1:68 teacher-to-pupil ratio.

Restoring forests, protecting livelihoods

Community-Led Climate Mitigation & Resilient Livelihoods

A green initiative aiming to plant 150,000 trees to restore the degraded Mulembo, Kanona and Musola forest reserves. The project introduces firewood-saving stoves and climate-smart agriculture to 5,000 smallholder farmers.

The VIE Catalyst — Volunteering, Internship & Exchange

A programme designed to connect global talent with rural development in Chitambo. CHDF hosts local and international volunteers who contribute expertise in grant writing, maternal health and sustainable farming.
